Our Redmond office was formerly operated by AAR Testing and Inspection, a trusted materials testing and inspection firm acquired by SOCOTEC in 2025.

Staffed by experienced engineers and lab technicians, our laboratory in Redmond serves clients across Seattle (King County) and throughout Washington State with a comprehensive range of construction materials testing (CMT), special inspections, quality assurance, and quality control services. We also perform both destructive and non-destructive testing to support project performance and compliance.

Our laboratory is accredited by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) for its Quality Management System and for testing in Asphalt Mixture, Soil, Aggregate, Sprayed Fire-Resistive Material, Iron and Steel, Concrete and Masonry.
